This fountain is near my building. I had to walk by it today on the way to a professor’s office hours.
Day 250: Love note
Seth is out of town for the next few days and he left me little notes all over the house. This is one of my favorites.

Another failure in the lab this week. This time it was a computer running software that we no longer have access to. Great.

Some teammates and I left early this morning for a tournament in Waukegan, IL. The sun was rising as we drove north and we passed a wind farm under construction:

Day 238: Picnic visitor and view
Today was my department’s annual fall picnic. My group was in charge of organizing the picnic, so we got to the site early to set up. This pup lives about 0.25 miles away, but spent the entire afternoon at the picnic looking for food. He was very sweet and it was nice to have him around:
