Day 5: I’ve seen fire
Today I was really grumpy and didn’t feel like taking any photos, but I took Scout out to the backyard to run around and looked across the street and saw this:
So I ran inside and grabbed my camera and took a bunch of shots– I really like this one because the sunset really does look like fire. (Note– to see a larger version, click on the image– it will open a new window).
Scout update: Scout woke up with a super swollen lip this morning and went to the vet at 8:30. The vet thinks she had an allergic reaction to something, so Scout got a shot of steroids in the butt and is now on benadryl. She also got a bath to try to get anything bad off her paws (she was not happy about the bath). She’s doing much better now– swelling is down, paw licking has stopped… so that’s good. Here she is being sleepy dog:

I love this idea. I might have to copy. I tried to do this last year, but just posting to flickr didn’t have the same feel as blogging it to a proper blog. Hmmm.
You should! I can tell that there are going to be days when I really don’t feel like doing it, but I think come Dec 31, I’ll be happy I did.
Also– after blogging only on livejournal, I really love wordpress– so much more sophisticated!
